For the record and whether or not you agree, we are living in the Last Days. Biblical prophecy warns of various things that will happen bringing us closer to Christs return. Look around and it doesnt take long to see our local communities, states, nation and world are in utter chaos and I believe it is going to get worse. Some churches are now being visited by undercover agents from the IRS, who attend services to monitor sermon content due to complaints from certain organizations. These groups feel offended because of whats being said behind the pulpit and want the tax exempt status to be revoked if a more politically correct approach isnt implemented. However, other religions seem to be given a pass by our own mainstream media and President Obama. We are forced to embrace every heathenistic philosophy in a spirit of tolerance but not to speak of Jesus in public. Its only a matter of time before ministries as mine (SJEO) will probably receive warnings concerning the songs we write to be more PC as well. It used to be that the Church was easily identified as a place where Hell was preached hot and Heaven sweet. Now, its nothing more than a social club where a pastor doesnt preach but encourages people to be better individuals by loving their neighbors, feeding the poor, giving to charities, etc. There is nothing wrong with that kind of rhetoric but you cant leave out the Blood!!! The Gospel in its purest form will not only offend but convict. Dear God, bring us a revival!!!!
