For the second time this month I find myself sitting here with the Tones sending me closer to deafness wondering, how in the name of God am I up in court for just doing my small bit? Its a new venue for me the High Courts, which I am presuming is #IrishWater in an attempt to intimate and scare me off when their physical attacks on me have failed. Send me all the legal letters you like, threaten to break me with costs, drag me to a hangman Im not going to be silenced or prevented from fighting this attack from the cabinet table! Fact is we already pay for water, simple as that! The reason our waterworks are in a critical state, can state that from seeing the state of the infrastructure at 1st hand, is decades of mismanagement by those at the cabinet table & local councils. We paid for water directly for years thru rates up until 77, then through indirect taxation ever since, what happened to that money? It was collected for water and management of our water systems, where did it go to? I think Im more sickened by the fact that Irish taxpayers money has been spent on a case to bring meself and the rest of the #Edenmore9 to court while children are starving, nurses reduced to tears over the state of the hospitals and homelessness beating records previously seen during the Great Hunger! All this money wasted when if the government parties used their collective hearing to listen to us we wouldnt be here now! I cant go into the story IW/GMC have placed before the court, seems Im up for crimes against fashion and persistence in this Battle, a battle I have always fought peacefully and accordance with Article 40.6.1/2 of our Constitution. That is no crime, standing up with a passion in your blood and dedicating every spare second to see a victory for the Irish people in the dark times. Injuct all you want, Ill be airing my criticism of government policy until the day I die, because many better people then myself had to shed their lives blood flow thru this island for me to have that right! My criticism of this participial government policy, have issues with most of whats been passed since 2008, is the following, we voted ye in with respect, believing ye would listen to us and represent our views, ye fail to even listen to us, ye failed. Ye know yourself this government is well aware of the fact we already pay for water, they still voted to impose another tax rate on it. A rate that will come in at around 500€ a year. Show me the home with 500 a year they can afford to lose. Around Edenmore youd be lucky to point out a home that could afford to lose 50c! Thats the same situation in towns,villages, townlands and parishes all over this island! You can bet your boots that if it wasnt the working northside fighting back, but a leafy affluent area government ears would be wide open! IW thought theyd come into Edenmore, act the blackguard and meter the whole estate, they thought wrong! At this stage God only knows what the final outcome of this case will be, pray and get the candles lit because were going to need every bit of support we can get. It might be the Edenmore 9 up, but it easily be people from your neck of the woods, normal people who saw an injustice and stood up against it We Shall Overcome #IrishWater!!! God Save Ireland!!!
