For the situation the Pacers are in, I love the Andrew Bynum signing. Its like winning at capitalism through a grassroots campaign. It could be the move that does the Miami Heat in. Indy will manage him well. For most teams, a Bynum signing is a cancer. But the Pacers are an established system that are just adding depth rather than looking for a final piece. All Bynum really has to do is play enough minutes to keep Roy Hibbert from fouling out. When David West left New Orleans, he ultimately chose Indiana over Boston for which Ray Allen then stated that West must not have been interested in winning championships. In response, West was rightfully offended. In the time since, Allen left Boston and rode the other big 3s coat tails for another championship in Miami. Since Allen left Boston anyway, West somewhat gets to have a last laugh. He doesnt have a championship yet, but hes better situated for one now as a cornerstone piece than ever in his career. Im officially on the bandwagon for the team from the Hoosier State.
