For the week of July 14: So this week went by super fast and I am still loving it. I have been working hard but working smart at the same time so we are able to not get worn out. I did exchanges with the Spanish branch this last week and talk about a head ache. It kinda killed me. Because I sat there trying to translate the little Spanish I know into English but that was a super great experience. So we are having a great time here in Alaska! On Saturday we went and did service at the Bear Paw festival in Eagle River which is about 20 min from my area. So that was fun. What we did was crowd control for the parade. So we pretty much just sat there and watched the parade. So that was fun I got a free shirt and that is super cool too! It says volunteer really big on the back of it! I have really been trying to write in my journal every single day. And I index them to so that is fun as well! I really like keeping a journal and realize what a blessing it is. SO We have an investigator now! She was a referral and I didn’t meet with her but she seems great from what I hear. The exchanges with the Spanish branch showed me really how to love the people you served and it was just the best experience. So I gave a blessing to a sick member of our ward today he is a recent convert who was excommunicated before but he is great and during the blessing I could feel the spirit so strong and it was amazing. Well keep praying for missionary opportunities and they will come. Love the people around you and love your friends and never be scared to share the gospel because it really is a gospel of happiness and a gospel of joy. It is crazy to see the impact it has on everyone who hears it. I heard a story of this sister missionary who died on her mission but one thing she would always say was you may be able to count the seeds in an apple but you will never be able to count the apples that come from that seed if it is planted....
