For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all people. This has now been witnessed to at the proper time. (1 Timothy 2:5-6 BOOKS) How has it been witnessed is the question. The book of Acts tells us Peter, James and John went to the mountain with Jesus and heard the voice of God. They have proof that Jesus is the Christ. This, by definition, make Jesus the mediator. He is the one who intercedes on our behalf. You are not alone. Because of Jesus we can live without fear. We will not face judgement. We will not face eternal damnation. We have an advocate with the Father who intercedes on our behalf. We are safe in his loving arms. Amen? Amen!
