For this weeks edition, Catfights was inspired by the beautiful work of Zbigniew Preisner who wrote a lot of really beautiful, honest and elementary, almost minimal music. Besides that influence I used the radio for what it is: to play great music, and to damn about radio- and other conventions. So Im very happy to broadcast the new, awesome and very playful track by Simon Pyke / Freefarm / Freeform, integral, from the first tot the last note for 25 minutes long. It really is a stunning track, released on the Warp Records label, and which is directly referring to Philip Glass Einstein on the Beach. Further on youll find some more of my favorite artists and other stuff I was -as usual- listening to this week. Like Pjusk, ~We Are Ghosts~, Vijay Iyer & Mike Ladd, Jon Hassell, @Oneohtrix Oneohtrix Point Never, Roll The Dice, Clark, ... So... enjoy the trip and feel free to share.
