For those affected by the council blunder of taking money from accounts for the Wirral Gym membership, the council have issued details of where to get help if you need it and said. "We sincerely apologise to anyone who has been inconvenienced by this mistake, and will meet the cost of any overdraft or bank charges incurred." They have / are contacting those that were affected, but just in case here are the details should you need them.
