For those interested in the TST and in my 7 year journey along - TopicsExpress

For those interested in the TST and in my 7 year journey along this route, a new change is in the works and I look forward to seeing more of the country and having a chance to celebrate with everyone. Returning TST participants are familiar with John St. in Greenwich, CT. The Day-3, 1/3 mile, 9-14% grade climb, just before Rest Stop 4, both intimidates and inspires. Each year, many riders climb the hill multiple times in support of all PALS. Last week we learned that parts of John St. will be under construction in July. Consequently, we have re-routed around John St. BUT we will STILL have Rest Stop 4 at the top of the hill. Once there, riders will be encouraged to descend and climb the hill as many times as they want. Spectators will have the opportunity to sponsor riders in their efforts. The fire engine, the flag, the people ringing cowbells will all still be there! This is a small hiccup in our planning and we know the spirit of the TST will be as strong as ever!
