For those just making slide guitars, this link will probably not help at all, but if youre serious about making a CBG where you can play 3 string, or 4 string banjo chords, this is a free must have link to calculate how far from nut to bridge the distance in inches, or metric, and how many frets you want. It then calculates the distance in inches or mm of how far from the nut each fret will be. Im not saying that this would have helped me making my first CBG, I still would have made beginner screw ups, but it doesnt hurt now. buildyourguitar/resources/fretcalc/jscrptclc.htm
