For those keeping score at home - not meant to be a grievance thread - just informational as I promised Id update. Home depot doors for the house - ordered dec 18th (you read that right - 10 mths+ a few days) & who knows how many reorders plus locks not working (twice in 1 day - oh so joyous!). Patiently waiting to see what Home Depot does as this fiasco has cost me time and $$. Final 3 doors came today. Down to the last one that will need to be painted as its supposed to be smooth and its far from that - but aside from fixing the final door and painting missing trim - the doors are IN. Still not sure how anyone would let a door leave the premise that unsmooth. Choose your HD store wisely as zero problems with several other projects. Im a hometown girl and many of you work for HD - this whole process showed just how bad it can get when every ball can be dropped. I make mistakes daily, and I bend over backwards to fix em. Holding out Faith that HD will make this right.
