For those kpop fans on my friend list Welp, this is a long post. However if you follow my channel, its important I guess. Some have ask me why I dont do reaction videos as much as I used to. Honestly, I want to venture past reaction videos, there is more to youtube and myself than that. Ive debated about it for a while about what I want to do mainly with my channel. I feel you all know so little about me and its just reaction youtuber. My quality of videos have been lazy which is why Ive experimented with a lot of things over the past 2 years and this month. I looked back at my channel and lets be honest, not a lot of people know much about me except for reaction videos and also I notice I dont give much incite about the videos. Not many people know Ive played piano professionally for about 15 years or that worked on motion pictures,Tribeca Film Festival or anything else. I dont know if its the same for other reaction vloggers but after a video is released and I do a reaction for it, I barely look at it after recording unless its a bias group. I love reviews and other platforms to talk about videos but I had in my mind No one watches reviews or people watch to see reaction videos, etc. Yep, im a bit over sensitive and I easily got defensive and butthurt over some of the smallest things. A lot of these thoughts go through my head and so this is what I decided...the only reaction videos I do from now will be strangers react to kpop and videos with my brother. I will come up with some else in replace of that. Another major thing is I want to start creating more original content like short films, parodies, etc. Being a kpop reaction youtuber is how I met a lot of you. Thats pretty much how everyone knows Misterpopo or Popo. However, Michael Smith-Grant (my real name) is much more than that. Its a new journey and something I should have started earlier. Even if it flops, the fact is I tried something new or different and I will live with whatever the results are. TL:DR version: Only reaction videos will be strangers react to kpop and with my brother whenever hes free. My channel will primarily feature original content more reviews and breakdowns and a redefined schedule I can actually keep. Consistency is my weakness Im terrible at it. Quality or quantity. Whether people love me or hate me, I am going to do what I want to do. My primary goals havent change and even though I would be frustrated constantly, I still move forward. Some people will leave, some people will stay. There are a lot of other great kpop reaction youtubers big and small. Well see where this goes in the end. Any all suggestions are welcomed.
