For those not old enough to remember, the midterms of 1994 was all about the angry white male. It wasnt that we objected to women and minorities working to earn their way to the top, it was that we were tired of others being given privilege at our expense. You dont gain ground by stepping on the backs of others without there eventually being a pushback. This midterm election year, it would seem that were seeing a lot of the scenarios and conditions that existed then, and this time were being joined by many from those groups, too. Those who work, or desire to are tired of others being handed spots at the front of the line undeservedly. This year, were pushing back, just like in 1994, and again in 2010.
