For those of us that grew up IN THE SYSTEM it was a lot like this some of us for many years after aging out still harbored the resentment of their childhood making relationships difficult I know because My brothers and I were part of that system My light did not really come until I met the man I have been with for nearly 26 years now he has had to help me to learn how it is to accept love from another human being for so many in my past had hurt me and anytime I got close to anyone thay would always leave and I was left with that same feeling of loss and self destructive behavior that for so long ruled my life I wanted to love but was unable to show or to accept love for I had never seen it before in my life So thank you Michael White For being the one that helped me to overcome my past and to know it was ok to be loved I love you
