For those of you confused.. major depression is not based on circumstance. It is not fleeting or a temporary feeling that passes. It is a mental illness. It does not care who you are, how much money you make, what you do for a living, where you live, or how many people love you. It is relentless! Most of all, it definitely does not qualify one as being a weak or pathetic person! Just because you dont understand it, doesnt mean it isnt real. So educate yourself on the facts so that you may educate others and we can help end the stigma! Okay, my rant of frustration is over :)
