For those of you that are getting your knickers in a twist about these no makeup selfies...... People ARE donating, and they are posting links to where to donate. Even if they dont donate, they are raising awareness, which then encourages others to donate. I have a whole wall of my friends that have posted pics of themselves with no makeup on. Through that, I was reminded of how many people in my life that cancer has affected. Before all the photos where flooding my newsfeed, I wasnt thinking about the subject. Through seeing all the photos, and being tagged, it has refreshed the cause in my own mind, and in others. Its all over facebook, and that is such a huge way to reach out to people. Even if a handful of these people donate, that is still a handful of people that probably wouldnt have donated if theyd hadnt been made aware! Seems a real shame to have such a negative attitude to it all. At the end of the day, at the risk of sounding like the very wise Bob Hoskins.... Every little helps!
