For those of you that do not already know, this summer I will be going on a mission trip to Zacapa, Guatemala! We will have the opportunity to minister to over 100 schools over the course of a week. When I think about those school kids and their communities I begin to think about how blessed we are to live in America and have all of the freedoms that we have here. My heart breaks for those children and families and I feel I am called to make a difference. Here is where you come in.. In Romans 10, Paul is speaking of all of the people who haven’t heard the gospel yet when he says “how will they know unless someone tells them, how will they tell them unless they go, and how will they go unless they are sent?” Part of what Paul is saying is that senders are a vital part of any missionary effort, and without people who are willing to support missionaries in both prayer and finances, ministry does not happen. Will you prayerfully consider partnering with me in the things God wants me to do in Zacapa? In order to follow this call, I need to raise $2,000 for travel, living and ministry expenses. I also need a team of people who will commit to pray for the team and I while we are gone. In partnering with me in prayer and financial support, you have become an active member in what God is doing in Guatemala, and I know that lives will be changed because of your sacrifices.
