For those of you that have asked about what items are needed for the Navy 4 Moms holiday Project--HERE IS A LIST OF SUGGESTED ITEMS: Loofas – the guys liked them as much as the ladies Jerky Beef Sticks Personal size bottles of hand sanitizer (seal inside of snack size Ziploc) Personal size packages of hand wipes Personal size bottles of lotion (seal inside of snack size Ziploc) Small deodorant (for male or female) Travel size shower gel Sugar Free Gum Candy (any kind) Chap-stick Personal size bottles of sunscreen (seal inside of snack size Ziploc) Any kind of nuts (nuts should NOT have shells - the shells are a hazard to the jet engines on the carrier) Cracker Snacks – the small cellophane wrapped type Individual Hot Cocoa packets Individual Apple Cider packets Individual coffee packets Individual favor packets for water Writing cards – blank inside Card games (Uno, Phase 10, etc) Individual packets of cookies or snacks Microwave popcorn ITEMS THAT ARE NOT SUGGESTED: Large bottles of shampoo, lotion, hand sanitizer (they leak and soak into the other items) SUGGESTED GIFT PACKAGING: Gift packages that fare well through delivery: Small cloth or felt Christmas stockings/bags Heavy duty lunch bags (colored and decorated) Heavy duty Quart and Gallon size Ziploc bags (with gifts wrapped in Christmas tissue paper inside) GIFT PACKAGING THAT IS NOT SUGGESTED: Large over-sized felt Christmas stockings Christmas Cellophane bags Light weight lunch bags
