For those of you that know Tim and I well you know how brokenhearted we are about Libby. if its okay with you I will be posting comments about Libby things we remember and things that we wanted everyone to know about her so that you know what a good girl she was. Please dont think Im being overly dramatic or weird about the whole thing but I think this will be my way to heal. For those that have never had the love of a four-legged friend the joy that they bring to you and the love that they give you unconditionally, Please understand this is what I need to do to try and heal my heart. The posts, Im sure, would become less frequent but for now please bear with me. First thing I want you to know is when we got Libby she was coming from a home that was going through a divorce and the soon-to-be ex-wife didnt want her. Libby needed surgery so she was just going to have her put to sleep. We knew we needed to have her. Jana Days mom took her to Northern Iowa so that she could have the vet clinic that she worked at do surgery. They were kind enough to do surgery, sent her home with food and leash and medicine and didnt charge us much of anything at all. I am still so thankful that she did that for us because we would not have had the last nine years with Libby. Thank you Jana and mom for letting us have Libby as part of our life. We will be eternally grateful.
