For those of you who are confused about Anonymous stance on GamerGate, let me break it down for you because there are some complications here. They openly support #GamerGate as a consumer boycott and call for ethics reform in all forms of gaming media.(Journalism, Gaming Sites, etc.) However, there are a couple of individuals claiming to be from anonymous who are running something called Operation: #GamerGate. #GamerGate =/= Operation: GamerGate. They are giving a warning to their fellow members of anonymous who may be following Operation: GamerGate when in reality theres no collective action being taken at the moment and the people who started Operation: GamerGate are dangerous people who may leak your information to the FBI.
