For those of you who are not checking the Caringbridge site,here is the newest Gunni update: Hi everyone! So today was our wellness check-up, and other than taking almost three hours everything looked good! It was only a superficial exam, but Gunnisons temperature was good and hes continuing to gain weight consistently. Also, his two wounds (on his neck for the spit fistula and the area of his g-tube) are both looking good according to the doctor! We wont know how the inside is healing up till Friday, but thats where you all come in!!! Were calling on all our prayer warriors to hit your knees! Were asking that you help us in praying for Gunnis little trachea and esophagus to heal themselves. If they dont we will most likely have to stay in Denver over Christmas and the coming weeks and the doctors will most likely have to open up Gunnis chest to try to patch everything up, which would mean lots more stressful time in the hospital away from home! So please start praying 5 or 500 times a day that God will help our little mans body to heal on its own without the need for anymore surgeries! Please, please, please pray with everything you have - with faithfulness and confidence that God will hear your prayers and put them into action!
