For those of you who dont know, I am a lawyer in Shenzhen (working as General Counsel) for a Japanese Corporation. Anyhow, my client is has a Visa which allows multiple entries, but he/she is required to leave China every thirty days. He/she may may have no choice in overstaying for a couple of days. Does anyone know what the consequences will be? He/she has a good record to date. Will there be a fine for certain? How about denial of re-entry under the current Visa which is still valid? How about denial of future Visas? Does anyone have any advice?
