For those of you who followed our posts from oncology camp, we added some more to our poem!! ENJOY :) Twas the hours before Camp Heart Connection, when all through the cabins, no songs were singing not even little red wagon. The decorations were hung by the sidewalks with care, in hopes that the campers soon would be there! The counselors were excited all of them said, while visions of all camp dancing danced in their heads. With Aunt Fifi in her home, and Mortimer in his cap, they had just settled their trip for a long weeks nap. You could hear from the kitchen such a commotion. Meals being prepped with such devotion. Off to the stage to hustle and see... We cant wait to have you a part of our whole family tree. The new rock climbing wall assembled as so, we cant wait for campers to give it a go! Arts & crafts are filled to the brim. The swimming pool is ready for a swim. All through the circles, tons of smiles and our laughter is heard for miles and miles. Counselors shouted cabins as they came. They whistled, and shouted, and called them by name! On North Star! Now Cardinal! Now Shagbark and Hawkeye! On Crazy Horse, on Blackhawk! On, on Emeka and Flying Eagle! Fill all of the cabins to each of the walls! Were ready for fun! FUN FOR ALL!! We are so very excited to have 206 Sibling Campers attend Camp Heart Connection for the week! Stay tuned for more photos throughout the week!
