For those of you who have followed little Kennys story, and the horrible condition he was in at the California shelter before Dutch Country Animal Rescue got him out, I wanted to let you know that this little soul went to The Bridge at around 4:30 pm today. He was on medication for congestive heart failure and he put up a good fight but alas, he had to leave. He went outside this morning , took one of his two pills, growled at a few dogs and then lay down where he went peacefully. I pray that his good friend and California foster who named him, Bryan Waite , is waiting for him and will watch over him until it is my turn to be his mom again. Kenny was the most work I have ever had with a rescue and I have to say, as tears flow, that I miss him terribly already.
