For those of you who have not signed up to attend the Valley High School Class of 1983 Class reunion Saturday, you have until noon today 10/25/2013 to contact Michele Modellas. To get an early start on the 1984 Valley High School Class Reunion, I want to invite all seniors that graduated in 1984 to contact me at [email protected] or sign up on to the Facebook Group Valley High School - 30 Year Reunion/Anniversary (Alumni Association). I graduated in 1984 and have kept in contact with most of my friends through the years. This is why I started the Group page on Facebook for all reunions. We were planning our 25th reunion and before we put ourselves on the hook for the class we ended up canceling the reunion. I was not going to put ourselves on the hook financially. Most classes have book hotel rooms and downsized their numbers before the event. It looks like the class of 1981 had a good time. They sent out personal invitations they made to reduce the cost. We met in the park in 1981 to get everyones feedback on what they wanted to see in a reunion. It looks like reserving areas in a park or booking a hotel ballroom is the most inexpensive way to do this and the count comes down to the plate counts used at the actual event. I am going to try to host ours at the Elk Grove Event Center. You get to rent the facility for the whole day and they have a kids game room upstairs, so we can make it a family event elkgroveeventcenter/. They have their own commercial kitchen and it is a way to reduce our cost. When was Valleys Homecoming in 2013? We want to have the Class of 1984 30 Year Reunion close to Homecoming!
