For those of you who missed Sundays programme, please watch it. Please dont support the industry at all! Keeping an intelligent animal confined to a small room with many others that she cannot get away from is also cruel, just because it is better then other systems that doesnt mean it is right! Just look at his response when the interviewer says so that pig cant turn around can she....for a month he has nothing to say for himself; what he should of said was I need her to raise her piglets as if she were a machine because I am only interested I one thing, which is the survival of the piglets so I can fatten them up and sell them for slaughter later, and then re-impregnate her to then get back in the crate she cant turn around in and act as machine again. If you want the truth it is always money! it is cheaper, and more efficient for the farmer to keep them indoors. I know bacon taste good, and that is the only bloody response I get when discussing this issue with people! but I would not want that on my conscious, I am most definitely not that shallow... a life always comes before taste buds! think of how superficial, selfish, and how indifferent it is that when faced with something so cruel you say but bacon taste sooo good listen to those dismissive words come out of your mouth. I ask you to visit a piggery look her in the eyes and say it to her face. Next time I get that response I will say get a grip
