For those of you with more than one male and having all of your dogs living in the house together: Do you have issues with your boys fighting? If your males are related (father/son) do they get along better than an unrelated male? What if you have father/son pair, plus an unrelated male? Do you notice any difference in how they react to each other? Reason being.. I kept a male back from my last litter and him and his father get along wonderfully. They love each other but the son typically plays with our tri female because shes closer to his age and he has a love affair with our mastiff ;). Im toying with the idea of getting a third male down the line if I end up with another tri girl at some point. But I dont want the whole three is a crowd to be an issue. I know a lot will depend on the temperaments of all involved and the attitudes may change once his son is old enough to understand a female in heat and they may not get along at some point either. Would I be dumb to add a third male to our home? Kenneling, in the terms of dogs staying outside in pens, is not an option for me because I just wont do it but I will crate and rotate when females are in heat IF it causes an issue. Thanks!! :)
