For those of you wondering where we are at adoption wise. Here is our update: our beautiful little girl is learning to walk. She is healthy and doing wonderful. We are four months into our wait. Her foster mom is taking wonderful care of her. She is a very happy little girl. Just received pics today!! Our paperwork is now moving on to Korean Embassy and the courts. We have one more hoop to jump through but its been smooth sailing. There was a father who recently murdered his Korean adopted son. When things like this happen it slows down the process as their has to be a response judicially. The response was that all parents have to do psych evals with specific testing. That is holding things up as you have to go to a licensed psychiatrist or psychologist for the testing. The wait time to get into see one of these is several months. So we are going to start calling around to find someone to do this. We cannot share pics of her yet but rest assured when we can it will be on like donkey kong. Im saving her name to announce the day I can post a pic. So as a mom Im dying to meet my new daughter. I sit and await Gods timing. My biggest dream was to be a mom. I had to wait a long time to complete my family. So this waiting period is nothing compared to the gift Im receiving for a life time. Thanks for your continued prayers.
