For those people who want to make your comments heard on the new Marina plan for Coral Bay and have been closed out of the summers end page here is your chance submit your comments for Marina hearing Aug 20th The Official Project Record is a paper record. With current VI budget constraints, CZM does not have the printer and staff resources to print out hundreds of emails for inclusion in the record. Therefore they ask that comments be submitted in paper copy by traditional mail or hand-delivered to DPNR at the hearing or otherwise. With DPNR’s agreement, alternatively, you may email your comments to [email protected] and CBCC will print and submit for the record to DPNR. DPNR staff will read the comments as they consider their staff recommendations to the Committee prior to the vote at the decision hearing (held a month after the first hearing). If you want to be sure the Committee members—who will vote-- hear directly what you have to say –come to the hearing on August 20th, starting at 4:30 pm and continuing till 10:30pm if necessary -- and be prepared to say your important points in under 3 minutes. If you have written a longer statement, bring copies to the meeting to give to CZM and the press. (7 would be great, if possible.)
