For those recent or former colleagues who may have been inadvertently missed or left out of my emailing list here goes the farewell message sent out on last Friday: ---- Farewell (From GMMP of course...) Dear Colleagues, Today, 28th November 2014, will be my last working day at General Maritime Management Portugal following the company’s recent termination of operations. It is now time to shut-down the computer, close drawers and make my way home to see what other challenges the future holds in store for me. Almost without being noticed, it already passed four decades since I joined my first vessel and more than twenty years since I came ashore to work on the other side of the industry. It were many years of challenges, not always easy but all exciting, carrying successively and with the same pleasure and commitment the flags of Soponata, Marenostrum e General Maritime Management Portugal. To all who in one way or another crossed or shared this road with me, thanks for the company and wishes that life treats you well.
