At the bottom of the statement issued this morning by the company, regarding this, is a statement that any and all questions concerning this matter be directed to your supervisors and above. This is exactly what you should do....ask them to explain what happened and keep asking until you get a satisfactory answer. All of this was decreed to the union delegates this morning after they dropped a heap of crap on the table and bolted....for Gods sake they had their flights back to Brissie pre-booked. They dropped the pile, bolted from the room, came back after a while and pretty much said nothing, then hopped a plane and flew back to the safety of Brisbane. it took less than an hour to organise a flight out of town if what they say is to be believed....strange that the Union Officials werent able to organise such quick flights and had to wait until today!
