For those that attended this months general membership meeting, you were treated to a great presentation from Phyllis Stephens on putting your garden to bed for the winter. On a side note, I had an opportunity to visit with many folks that I hadnt seen for many months and met one special young lady, Erica, who recently moved up from California and was seeking help in her landscape. A first time resident of Spokane, we were able to connect her with a gardening club in her area up on the South Hill. Now this could be you so please consider attending next months meeting which will be held on Friday, October 24th at 11:45 AM, at the Manito Meeting Room where our guest speaker will be Jennifer Wengeler who will be speaking on permaculture.
