For those that followed my journey, know that me being a pole dancer is far from what I or anyone, Im sure, imagined for me. With art, the ability to create without restrictions or guidelines, or in this case, freedance, can be quite challenging. At least for type A people like myself. So here I am, a little closer to 30, learning how to really connect to my body. This was the first time, without the added assistance of Divine Em, that I let the music move me. I needed to dance this day...badly and Kelly Yvonne allowed it. I knew how I was starting, but I had no idea where I was going. Thanks Brooke Foorman for capturing this moment. For the sake of sharing and in the spirit of my birthday, heres a vulnerable side of me. Hope you like it!
