For those that havent heard, Raymond Beadle passed away this morning at around 4:20 am after battling serious health problems over the past months. This is a picture of Raymond, my Dad and many of Raymonds Blue Max employees after a win at Devils Bowl when Raymond was helping us with our Sprint car. This is the way I want to remember Raymond as the true Champion and lover of all types of racing and people. This picture was taken in 1980 right in the middle of Raymonds three consecutive NHRA Funny Car Championships. Not only was Raymond a Champion but he was one of the best at courting major sponsers,entertaining the fans and helping others. besides spending three years with us in Sprint car racing Raymond went on to support Sammy Swindell and Amy. Raymond has a son that grew up around racing with my daughter and they worked together at JRMotorsports where Ryan Beadle is still their attorney. Ryan was planning on getting married this coming Saturday. My Prayers go out to Raymonds family,associates from over the years,his many friends and fans !!!
