For those wanting to know about "the stuff" It is a Probiotic...imported from America and is sold under then name of "Healthy Farm" in Australia for Horses Sheep Goats Chooks and all farm animals. It acts by populating the gut with the right bacteria to keep a stable stomach. Hitting the gut with slugs of grain twice a day or even once a day disrupts the stability of the stomach acids. Sending the little bacteria balistic and creating an Acid spike. This leads to Ulcers and can cause colic and other various problems. Once the stomach is kept in a stable acid balance then the ulcerations and ongoing problems associated with it may be stopped or reduced.
