For those who are non-beaner genetic or are unaware May 10th is the Mexican Mothers day. Its a set date every year none of this second sunday, what date does it fall on this year stuff. I guess it helps, making it easy to remember (and be reminded how horrible you are if you do forget) but to me it WiLL ALWAYS be mothers day for one reason. This day, 4 years ago was the last day I ever spoke to My Mom and that she spoke back. She had been in and out of consciousness following heart transplant surgery. It was a real blessing, she was awake and responsive, joking as she usually did. A real true Dia de la Madre (mothers Day) I would never expected to have lost her five days later. Its funny the things you remember, My mom always giving, and always thinking of others, so much that she gave us one last mothers day, together.
