For those who believe the media-promoted lies that it is the Democrats rather than the Republicans who want the government shut down over the Affordable Care Act, here is an excerpt from an August 22, 2013 article on the CBS Tampa Bay website that reveals the truth: "Some conservatives have threatened to close the government temporarily this fall — by refusing to fund federal operations beyond Sept. 30 — if that’s the only way to cut off money for President Obama’s signature health care law. Other Republicans have dismissed the tactic as counterproductive and even dangerous for Republicans seeking re-election next year." And, as we can see also, there were actually some sane and responsible "other Republicans" who opposed the idea their colleagues were proposing; but we see who won the argument. So, NO MORE LYING ABOUT WHO WANTED THE GOVERNMENT SHUT DOWN!!!
