For those who call me insane, read this- Ive received awards and citations all over the world for my books defending Philippine art and culture. This includes endorsement from the UN representing 193 countries for my environmental book, The Philippine Coral Reefs. Ive received praise for my publications from VIPs of international institutions representing IMF, WB and ADB. I have also received applause from leaders of states, the deputy Prime MInister of Samoa, Misa Telefoni amongst one of them who went out of his way to write about me in their Sunday paper, praising my work. Currently, I am giving hardcopies of 2 of my coffee table books, entitled Modern Art and Ying and Yang. These titles are used as references in college. They are sold at NBS for Php 3,600 each. I am giving over 7 million worth of these books for free to graphic art, interior design and fine art students who cant afford to buy these expensive publications. Students from UE, UP and other universities have been coming to my home to receive these world-class publications at no cost. Meanwhile, my non-fiction book Warriors of Heaven has been required reading in UP and other universities in 3 subjects, Philosophy, Popular Literature and Political Science. This first segment is followed by 4 more titles, Tales of the Black Widow, Bringer of Death, Condemned by Millions and The Key. My readers here and abroad say that the volumes following Warriors of Heaven are just as excellent if not better than the first one. I realize that many students cannot afford to buy my non-fiction books as well. So, I give the EBooks for free. The PDF files are available from my website, marleneaguilar. I am told Warriors of Heaven and my other non-fiction books have become viral over the Internet.
