For those who do not know, Andrew Grossberg, a NYC tourist, was beaten up by a carriage driver two years ago. I have never met Andrew but we communicated at the time. This is the article. blogs.villagevoice/runninscared/2012/09/this_is_what_ha.php The case was dismissed - Andrew thinks it is because the carriage drivers have political clout or the DA did not want to involve a “tourist attraction” in a criminal trial. But he has told us the Victims Fund paid for all his medical expenses and destroyed clothing. He said he was threatened and decided not to pursue the case. I think it is curious that Andrew now has a brain tumor, diagnosed 8 months ago - a little more than one year after he suffered a concussion in the attack. He says the two are unrelated but I wonder. Andrew is a young man. It would be hard to prove but it is possible. In any case - these drivers can be violent and they also lie, lie, lie. Please help Andrew by giving what you can - read below.
