For those who have been asking, here are my results from my first night out with the RamperPro: https://dropbox/s/s3jw8f2agskv0dp/first-ramper-pro-test.mov?dl=0 TECHNICAL DETAILS: -8s interval -Only modified one setting from stock; I set the ISO Shift to 4 seconds which forces the controller to stay at the lowest iso until it reaches 4 seconds. I wanted to get that streaky 180d shutter look for the traffic. -Made NO adjustments during the shot.. I only occasionally monitored the exposure on the RamperPro using its autoreview and found it was pretty much keeping the 5dmk2 light meter dead center POST: -Heres where things get interesting, merged the RamperPros XMP files with the original raw files and used Bridge /Adobe Camera RAW to recover some shadows and knock back some highlights, adjusted white balance slightly along with some pedestrian detail and vibrant settings. -The key when applying these changes to all the files is to uncheck the exposure setting, this is pre-calculated by the RamperPro and contained in the XMP files it generates. -And thats it, dropped it into an AE timeline and rendered. CONCLUSION: Really excellent clean results and.. it feels like cheating! =)
