For those who have kept us in your prayers... Buddys stepmom Dar - Lilly and Oliies Grandma Dar... passed away on Saturday. It was a balancing act this weekend and we would not have been successful without Auntie Maryann, Uncle David, Gma Patty, Papa Ben, Sarah, Julie, and Jessie... Thank you! and Buddy was able to spend a lot of time with his sister and father which was a blessing. Before I tell this next tidbit- for those of you who may not know- Buddy and I both have divorced parents from years back... therefore Lilly and Ollie have many, many grandparents. 4 grandmas, 3 grandpas, and currently 3 great grandmas... They have never known anything different. Also, Grandma Darlene has never had grand children who have lived close to her while they were young. So these past 3 years have been nice as a relationship has happily formed and developed. Anyway- onto the story... 2 weeks before Darlene went into the hospital, she called me. She had a general question about something art related... but after that tidbit she continued conveying that Oliver during his last visit had decided to have quite the lengthy conversation with her. and that he definitely loved on her with hugs and kisses. She said that it certainly made her over the moon happy. And I proceeded to tell her that we, of course, love her and that my children love her too. It was a conversation I definitely tucked away as being something to remember. Once again, Buddy and I have continued to see yet another silver lining about our unexpected transition to Delphos. - BUT OBVIOUSLY the good Lord has a plan that works for all if you simply live your life knowing he is leading you...
