For those who have recently lost a loved one, or for a funeral/memorial service...There is no end, only new beginnings. The body is only a vessel that transports the soul, which, being part of the Divine, is immortal. Though the body is shed, the essence never perishes. Though physically gone, the spirit remains with loved ones forever. Though unseen, they share in your lives, watching over and protecting you, trying to warn you of danger, sharing good times and bad, laughter and tears, growth, celebrations, and accomplishments. They await the time when you will be together again, and will be there to see you safely through the passage. At the demise of the physical body, the spirit is released to transcend to a place of ultimate peace and contentment, a paradise, a place not of death, but of life...a place to rejoin those who have gone before. As they have been with us always, awaiting our reunion, so will we all be there someday, awaiting reunion with those we leave behind. Be joyful! Our loved one is without pain and sorrow.
