For those who think there is nothing to do in Nacogdoches----I will post individually the various events and opportunities available last Sat.----a busy and beautiful day. Early Sat. morning over 400 runners/walkers/strollers took part in the 5K event sponsored by and for the Helping House a small facility dedicated to serve children with autism operated by Amanda Johnson and her staff. I tried to get a picture of Amanda but she is a moving target boosting the spirits of all around her. I am not surprised anymore by the caring people of Nacogdoches who turn out and give their time and resources to the unmet needs of others. Thank you Helping House for giving us the opportunity to contribute.
