For those who would rather bash the ones ones taking the ALS challenge, calling it a passing trend...... do a bit of research first. I get that some of YOU might not get it, how dumping ice water on yourself can raise awareness, (I think its already proven it can) why dont you tell Pete Frates your opinion, rather than personally bash those who took his challenge . Enough of the childish remarks, uneducated statements, misstated statistics and negative remarks, keep them to yourselves. I am sure Pete Frates would love to still be able to lift a bucket over his head (or dump a bucket over teammates/coach in celebration after a win as most athletes like him do), or even hold his newborn baby to come, so instead his friends are doing it, and asking others to hopefully raise enough awareness that the celebration of a cure will one day be a reality. https://facebook/TeamFratetrain. (and please dont comment on how there are other things going on in the world that are more impotant blah blah blah, I KNOW it is all important, I am aware of other fights and plights, I just chose to not put down one persons fight to bring light to another.
