For through the living and eternal word of God you have been born again as the children of a parent who is immortal, not mortal. 1Pet1:23 TEV The Apostle explains why the command (love one another deeply, from the heart. :22) was made; Because the believers were born again through the living & eternal word of God. :23,Jam1:18,Eph5:26. They now have a new parent, who is God. But had parents, who were human(Jh1:13). Therefore, it was expected of them to live in the pattern of their new parent(1Jh4:7-8,20-21). Brethren, how do we stil live our lives? Like old/new birth? *If 1Cor1:10-17,3:1-4(division), Acts6:1(tribalism),Jam2:1-11(favouritism),etc are still been found among us, are these exhibitions of our new/old birth? *Are there differences in the characters of our new parent and old parents? If yes, whose characters are we emulating? *If our Father &Lord did these; Rom5:8,Jh10:11, whom are we like when we live in hatred,self-centerdness,etc? Shouldnt we repent and do Rom12:2? God help us all. Amen
