For todays FAST FORWARD FRIDAY, were focusing on PRE-K! We hope youll share this post with your friends whose children are in pre-K, so they might see whats coming up for 2014-2015. * Pre-K will end at 2 PM EVERY DAY rather than ending at different times on different days. After-school activities for pre-K will begin at 2 pm. * We are moving from three short periods per week of HEBREW to two longer periods per week of Hebrew, allowing more depth of study. * Pre-K students will add elementary-school ART, SCIENCE, and PE specialty classes to their weekly schedule just like kindergarteners! * RHYTHMS, LIBRARY, and COMPUTER stay the same, with students starting computer at the beginning of the year rather than in January. * Much like the rest of the Early Childhood Division, this years incoming pre-K class is ENORMOUS! It will have FOUR sections, each with two teachers. While pre-K is as fun, developmental, and play-based as ever, we think these upgrades will ENRICH and ENLIVEN the program even more and ensure a SMOOTH and EASY transition to kindergarten!
