For years I was picked on and bullied and called names like goth girl, wierd kid, dirt kid, stupid, ugly, dyke, lesbian, etc. All because I chose to stand out and embrace the abnormal and the shadow within myself by dressing in black or fishnet tights, tripp pants with chains, dyed hair, colorful gloves, odd jewelry or colorful bright tanks and stockings. I dressed in things that caught my eye because I would rather stand out a free thinker than fit in with the rest of society and buying designer shoes like Jordans or bland fashionless apparel like north face or abercrombie and fitch where only wealthy, beautiful thin people are aloud to shop all just to prove to people that a person has the money.
