For years, Peru has violated human rights for the LGBTI community - TopicsExpress

For years, Peru has violated human rights for the LGBTI community even when there are killings in the country, and the President of Peru says nothing about it. That is not having sense of a national reality, that is not direct his politics equally to all. But yes, they go out there to the world screaming that Peru is working towards social inclusion, but at the time of establishing laws for the LGBTI community, all the sudden we dont exist for them. Homophobic congresists together religions, all unite to block LGBTI rights in this country. Now, we have a Civil Union law project which is a basic right, is not MARRIAGE neither ADOPTION, which are the two things these homophobics and religions DONT want, and so it is that way. It has been 1 year and 3 months since the Civil Union law project was proposed and now, it has reached the number 1 in the agenda which it did also six months ago, so next tuesday, this project should be debated. It should be approved because this Civil Union law project counts with 4 reports from gubernmental institutions that are powerful in Peru and has said that this project is constitutionally viable. Two of these institutions represent the legal system of Peru, so the Civil Union is perfectly viable and legal, there is nothing else to say on that part. It is time to take a first step towards Equality next week, and lets hope these Peruvian congresists show it!
