For you bless the righteous, O Lord; you cover him with favor as with a shield. Ps. 5:12. If reading that scripture didnt make your spirit leap, allow me to give you a little push. Righteousness is right standing with God, and guess what? That is a gift, it cant be earned; its just given! You being covered with favor as a shield gives you an advantage over everyone else! So, its like this. Picture yourself walking next to the Lord (righteous) with all kinds of opportunities around you ( people offering you jobs, money, gifts, houses etc. -favor). Now, all you have to do is BELIEVE it! The hard part was already taken care of at the cross! Stop believing all those lies the enemy throws at you, because he wants you to walk in defeat and depression!
