For you that wanted to know a little more about me here ya - TopicsExpress

For you that wanted to know a little more about me here ya go! My name is Sara Wittchen, I am (almost) 27 and reside in Joliet Illinois with my husband and two rescue dogs Ellie and Rex. I was born and raised here in Will County. Graduated from Minooka High School in 2006. I was married at the Pilcher Park Green House in September of 2012. Last year my husband Brandon and I bought our first home! A beat up bank owned property with what we saw as having tons of potential. I am a real estate agent with ReMax Ultimate Professionals in Shorewood and find myself involved in a lot of community endeavors. I was raised by a bunch of antique, classic movie, dont make it like they used to women, who taught me the beauty of patina and rust. I knew what a weather vane was by age five, depression glass by eight, and different crystal cuts by 12. My mom, Sherry Lewandowski, Grandmother Judy Juricic, and many aunts instilled in me that new is not always better and somethings can just not be replaced. Luckily I found a guy that enjoys all those things as much as I do (he didnt really like when I brought home a rusty wagon to make into a flower bed last summer). I hold a special place in my heart for the arts. I was always very active in both drama and band. In fact those are the 2 symbols on my class ring. I started playing the clarinet (an antique hand me down of course) in 3rd grade all through high school where I was participated in Pit Orchestra, Marching, and Pep Band. I hold many memories of the Rialto in my heart. Festival of trees, meeting Santa, seeing Edgar Allan Poe poems come to life on the stage. I even saw the blockbuster Titanic on the big screen there with my Grandma. Sure the force to be reckoned with Sherry gave me a nudge to express my love and concern for the Rialto, but it did not take long for the memories and lessons to come flooding back.
