Forecast as of 3:36 am CST on February 3, 2014 Synopsis For The Middle Texas Coastal Waters A moderate to strong offshore flow early this morning will decrease and become northeast by this afternoon as high pressure settles along the coast. The flow will become onshore this evening and bring in higher moisture. This will lead to areas of light rain developing later tonight into Tuesday morning. Then another frontal boundary will move through the waters with a moderate northwest flow expected by Tuesday afternoon. The offshore flow increases Wednesday as cold Canadian airmass surges into the northwest Gulf. Strong north to northeast winds...rough seas...and dreary conditions can be expected Wednesday through at least Friday.
